Overview:

This Youth Marksmanship Course is designed to build safe, confident, and disciplined young hunters and shooters through hands-on instruction and proven fundamentals. In order to start off correctly, we will be using suppressed .22lr and .223 rifles. If you do not own these types of firearms we will provide both. If you would like to bring the rifle that the student will be hunting or competing with, we will touch on proper use with this firearm as well. We will contact the guardian of the student for a consult prior to training.

Participants will learn the core principles of marksmanship, including firearm safety, proper handling, stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, and follow-through. Instruction is tailored for youth shooters of varying experience levels, with a focus on building confidence, accuracy, and respect for firearms.

Beyond technical skills, the course reinforces values essential to hunting and shooting sports—discipline, focus, ethical decision-making, and teamwork. Whether preparing for hunting season, competitive shooting, or lifelong recreational shooting, students will leave with a strong foundation they can build on safely and responsibly.
